Colorado orchard has productive apple and peach trees, ready to plant wine grapes, pasture, hay

Eckert, Colorado is known as a hotspot for Colorado orchards and vineyards

One of the best locations in Colorado to grow fruit and grapes is Eckert, Colorado, located near Hotchkiss and Cedaredge on the Western Slope. This orchard sits on a small mesa at 5,200 feet four miles east of Eckert on 2600 Road, and wow, what a beautiful location. With 360-degree views and the Grand Mesa towering overhead, this is a gorgeous setting.
Orchard has productive blocks of apple and peach trees

With 12 acres of fruit trees, this orchard produces a nice crop of apples and peaches. Gala, red delicious, golden delicious, Jonathan, Granny Smith, and Empire are some of the apple varieties; the peaches consist of JH Hales, Globehaven, and also some nectarines.
Warm climate, great views, and relaxed lifestyle

The orchard on 2600 Road is located in a micro-climate that doesn’t freeze when other orchards and vineyards experience frost. The surrounding mountains offer skiing, hunting, fishing, and all sorts of recreation. The nearby Grand Mesa, the Uncompaghre Plateau, the San Juans, and the West Elks mountain ranges are all within an hour’s drive at the most.
Vineyard, hobby farm, horse property, small farm, sustainable agriculture

You can keep horses or a few cattle, goats, chickens, pigs, sheep, llamas, or alpacas. The irrigated acreage is completely enclosed in an 8-foot game fence. The underground irrigation system is installed and functioning.
